The original painting was done plein air style (out in the open with the subject in view) near Morgan, Utah. 

This painting is named about the hymn, 'For the Beauty of the Earth.' It is a reminder to me of all the beautiful creations that we have to be thankful for because of our loving Heavenly Father.
