Hi! I'm Kenna.

I'm a self-taught artist born and raised in Heber City, Utah. I always loved art growing up, but my journey didn’t truly start until 8th grade.

Middle school was quite the rollercoaster for me. That's where I found comfort in art, and it became my favorite activity in those awkward years. Day by day, my passion grew, and I discovered a gift for it.

I started sharing my artwork on Instagram, did custom portraits for friends and family, and eventually opened an Etsy shop as a freshman in college. I barely got any sales at first and almost quit after 10 months, but luckily things picked up!

At the end of 2022, life threw some more curveballs. At the time, I was going to school full-time and working for a local business in social media marketing. I was let go from that job, and decided to give being a full-time artist a go -- also deciding to drop out of college.

Just a month later, I lost my Instagram account that connected me & my artwork to thousands of friends, customers, and loyal supporters I had worked so hard to find over the past few years.

Despite feeling pretty discouraged, overwhelmed, and lost, I decided to start over and build up an audience again from scratch.

While the road has not been easy (and continues to have countless ups and downs), I am beyond honored to have my art hanging in homes all across the world.

Every step, even the tough ones, has brought me where I am today. It has always been my dream to create artwork that is meaningful, uplifting, and, of course beautiful! I am so happy to have you along for this journey with me!

A little more about me and my artwork...

Where does your inspiration come from?

The short answer is everywhere!

But I'm especially inspired by music. I love looking through hymnbooks to find inspiration for new artwork and titles for pieces I'm finishing up. You'll often find me scribbling down lyrics of worship songs in my notes app to use as inspiration for new pieces.

I think that music and art have something special in common: they can both communicate and create feelings that regular words on a page can't.

I love thinking about how I can translate the feeling I get from listening to a particular song into a painting that can give you the same feelings of hope, faith, trust, and joy each time you look at it.

What is your favorite painting you've created?
