Detailed print of my original painting titled 'Even The Wildflowers'

I have spent so much of my life in a hurry, rushing toward the next thing, the next season, the next answer to a prayer I hadn’t even finished praying.

But what I find so fascinating about Christ in the scriptures is He was never in a hurry.

Even when his friend was sick and dying or a storm was raging, He chose to be present with the people who needed Him most in those moments instead of rushing to the next big thing. When children were brought to Him, the disciples tried to rush them away, worried that they would be an inconvenience. But Christ said “let the children come to me” and gave them his full attention and energy.

It seems like the world moves a little quicker and spins a little faster each and every day. There are a million things vying for our time and attention, and it can be so hard to stay present.

This painting reminds me to be unhurried and to trust that God will take care of me. I love the phrase given in the sermon on the mount, “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin.”

Flowers don’t toil and spin and worry about how they’ll get enough sunlight or rain or nutrients from the soil. They simply grow because God has already provided everything that they need.

I often need the reminder that Christ does the same for my own life. He will supply me with what I need, so I don’t need to stress and worry and rush through the moments in life that actually matter the most.

This painting reminds me what it looks like to stop reaching for tomorrow and just be here: hands full of flowers, not answers. If God can create beautiful fields of flowers effortlessly, I have to believe He’s tending to me too.

FAQs

Do your prints come framed?

Regular prints do not come framed!

If you want to skip the stress of finding a frame for your artwork, I recommend picking a canvas or framed canvas print instead of a paper print.

My favorite places to shop for frames are thrift stores, Hobby Lobby, and Target!

When should I expect to receive my order?

Regular production time is 1-4 business days, and 1-4 additional business days for shipping through USPS. As a small business, I do my best to get orders out as quickly as possible! During sales or busier seasons, orders may take additional time to ship. Thank you in advance for shopping small & being patient!

Canvas (framed and unframed) and Large Format Print Orders (16x20 or larger) will arrive in 1-2 weeks. These orders are printed just for you through another small business we work with, so production times are a few days longer than regular orders.

If you need your order by a certain date, shoot me an email (kenna@kennaelizabethart.com) and I'll do my best to get it to you by that date.

Do you ship internationally?

I am not currently able to ship internationally through my website, but international shipping is available through my Etsy Shop!

I made a mistake on my order. What do I do?

If you notice a mistake on your order after it has already been placed, please send an email to kenna@kennaelizabethart.com and I will do my best to correct the mistake!

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Shipping addresses can be changed as long as the package has not been shipped
  • Orders can be cancelled as long as it has not been shipped.
  • Discount codes can only be applied if the sale is still active. If the sale has passed, I won't be able to apply the code to your order!

Do you take custom orders?

I do not currently accept custom orders! Custom work is not my strength, so I prefer to focus on creating paintings that resonate more deeply with me and a wider audience.

Here are a few artists I recommend for custom work:

Mikkele (@facelessbymikkele)

Bree Copley (@watercolorsbybree)

Nicole (@rndillustrations)

Hanna (@hereiambooks)

Kadee (@bykadeediane)

You can also find custom artists through Etsy by searching for the type of custom painting you are looking for!

Reviews

This is a beautiful piece of art which made a heartfelt gift for my niece who lost her baby.

Kenna's art is so beautiful! We have several of her pieces around our house! Everyone always compliments them when they come over! I recommend her to all my friends and have gotten them as a gift for people too! Her art is unique and stunning! She is the sweetest and so talented! The picture with this review has a weird glare so it doesn't give the art the justice it deserves!

Kenna has the most beautiful and well crafted art and designs! She is prompt to send things on time and uses the cutest packaging for her products. The design that I chose arrived looking even better in person! Receiving this order truly made my day!
