'Lead Kindly Light' Print (Paradise, Utah)

Fine art print of my original painting titled 'Lead, Kindly Light'

The original painting was done plein air style (out in the open with the subject in view) near Paradise, Utah in the beautiful Cache Valley.

This painting is named after the hymn, 'Lead, Kindly Light.'

 One of my favorite lines from this song reads,

"the night is dark, and I am far from home.

Lead thou me on!

Keep thou my feet; I do not ask to see.

The distant scene -- one step enough for me."

This painting represents the pathway that Christ leads us along. Sometimes the nights are dark, stormy clouds loom over us, and we feel we are far away from home.

But Christ has provided a path for us, and He will lead us on one step at a time.
