{"product_id":"even-the-wildflowers-print","title":"'Even The Wildflowers' Print","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDetailed print of my original painting titled 'Even The Wildflowers'\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-center para-style-body\"\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI have spent so much of my life in a hurry, rushing toward the next thing, the next season, the next answer to a prayer I hadn’t even finished praying.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBut what I find so fascinating about Christ in the scriptures is He was never in a hurry.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eEven when his friend was sick and dying or a storm was raging, He chose to be present with the people who needed Him most in those moments instead of rushing to the next big thing. When children were brought to Him, the disciples tried to rush them away, worried that they would be an inconvenience. But Christ said “let the children come to me” and gave them his full attention and energy.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt seems like the world moves a little quicker and spins a little faster each and every day. There are a million things vying for our time and attention, and it can be so hard to stay present.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis painting reminds me to be unhurried and to trust that God will take care of me. I love the phrase given in the sermon on the mount, “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin.”\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFlowers don’t toil and spin and worry about how they’ll get enough sunlight or rain or nutrients from the soil. They simply grow because God has already provided everything that they need.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI often need the reminder that Christ does the same for my own life. He will supply me with what I need, so I don’t need to stress and worry and rush through the moments in life that actually matter the most.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis painting reminds me what it looks like to stop reaching for tomorrow and just be here: hands full of flowers, not answers.
